Gottlandia comitatus is an old map of Gotland from the 1680s, created by the freeman and cartographer Carl Gripenhielm (1655-1694). In 1683, Carl Gripenhielm was appointed director of the National Land Survey, and would be responsible for the publication of a number of new maps of various parts of Sweden in the years to come.
