The studio - second half, 1898

Carl Larsson's watercolour painting The studio - second half (1898) was one of 24 paintings in the book A home (1899), with which Carl Larsson wanted to show how to decorate his home well. The book begins with a text in which Larsson describes his family life in the cottage Lilla Hyttnäs in the village of Sundborn outside Falun. This is followed by 24 watercolour paintings depicting scenes from the house and the Larsson family's life.
